Gabor is a Hungarian conductor who comes to my house and does conductive education with me.

We do a lot of stretching exercises with a rod and walking backwards and forwards along a beam holding onto a rod for balance. Mummy stands in front of me and once Gabor starts my feet off I move along the beam. (It is between my legs to stop them crossing over at my ankles). Walking backwards is a little more difficult but with mummy and daddy's help I can sometimes manage to bring one of my legs back.

Its all quite fun because Gabor and mummy sing as we do the exercises. Sometimes Gabor sings in Hungarian!

Conductive education is based on the idea that despite damage to the nervous system still possesses the capacity to form new neural connections.

Gabor has his own website at www.qcet.net  Have a look.
